VAANI-SILIGURI is a centre specifically focused on the alleviation of children with hearing impairment in and around tea growing areas in North Bengal. It pursues the Individual Education Plan [IEP] model for its students imparting graded learning skills by trained professionals in the presence of their parents/guardians.

Summarized activities for the quarter ended 31st. December, 2023

Sensitization programmes were held for creating communicating skills for establishing an inclusive ecosystem for Children with Hearing Deficiencies. Inclusive Education Programmes and Group Sessions were held to understand concepts better as well to establish improved greater bonding between parents and children with hearing impairment in the home environment. Vital life skills such as understandable communications and critical thinking are being constantly imparted. Diwali and Christmas were celebrated enthusiastically by children, parents and teachers.
