VAANI-MALANCHA has from its inception been integrally aided by the Trust in the establishment of a centre in rural Malancha about 60 kms east of Kolkata. Deaf children are taught by trained professionals in literacy together with their parents to enable them to integrate into mainstream life.

Rights and entitlements of children between the ages of 10-18 years with hearing impairment were explained to students and parents. Here too, similar programmes as existing at VAANI-SILIGURI were imparted. Diwali and Christmas were celebrated enthusiastically by Children, parents and teachers.
