Hanshi Khushi - Kolkata
The apt name colloquially translates to Smile and Happy. It is a centre for disabled children between the ages of 3 – 16 years run by a group of dedicated teachers headed by its founder, Mrs. Urna Bose. It cares for 30 such students by engaging them in creative work in textiles, handicrafts and spices.

Summarized activities for the quarter ended 31st. December, 2023 :

Unfortunately, Hanshi Khushi was compelled to move its Centre to a nearby smaller location at S.N. Raipur Road East, Sulokh, Kolkata – 700022, Saktigarh, Jadavpur, Near Vivekananda Pathgari.
However, all vocational and hand-face gestures continued in full tempo at the new Centre.
The Annual Exhibition of products of Batik on cloth, Paper Bags and Ground Spices created by children under the guidance of teachers was held at Mysore Hall, Kolkata. The displays were well appreciated. Diwali and Christmas celebrations were held with enthusiastic participation from pupils and teachers.
